During the first Covid 19 lockdown Ridgeway have been continuously working with the EA and its regional framework contractors providing Filter Unit Rockbags for emergency flood repair schemes.
Bam Nuttall recently utilised Filter Unit Rockbags to repair a 40 metre slip on a flood defence embankment in Doncaster.
The embankment, which lies between the River Don and the South Yorkshire Navigation canal at Mile Thorn in the Wheatley Park area of Doncaster, suffered from damage before and during last winter’s flood conditions.
Ridgeway supplied over 580 2T Filter Unit Rockbags for scope of works and will make the embankment much more resistant to erosion.
