Scour Protection – Rockbag Installation, Central Scotland

This environmentally friendly approach, utilizing 100% recycled polyester (PET) and the Raschel knitting technique, provides flexible and effective protection for riverbanks and structures against erosion.

  • Utilising a long-reach excavator for precise placement of the Rockbags at a calculated distance from the haul road.
  • Minimising excavation—due to site constraints, only minor reshaping was done before placement to prevent unnecessary disturbance to the environment.
  • Coordinating closely with project partners to deliver on time and to the client’s full satisfaction.
