In 2020 Ridgeway provided Kyowa Filter Unit Rockbags to the Authorities on the River Dee in Aberdeen for protecting a section of the riverbank adjacent to the Aberdeen Boat Club. Rockbags have successfully protected an important section of embankment from further erosion while offering a 100% clean safe solution for the marine environment. On a recent site visit, we viewed how the bags had integrated into the surrounding environment supporting vegetation growth and providing substrate for the marine life within the river.
