Ridgeway have been supplying filled Filter Unit Rockbags to a major UK Civil Engineering Contractor as part of the scour protection works on Berth 5 Douglas Harbour, Isle of Man. Ridgeway were contracted to fill and deliver 616 x 2t rockbags to be installed as a long term solution for protecting the hoist tower piles of the vessel berth. Working with their project team and utilising local stone resources and labour on the island, Ridgeway delivered the full amount of rockbags in two batches to coincide with the installation schedule.
